The Doja Room gives ‘MAID OF HONOUR’ by Drake a 7/10.
May 15 Drake dropped THREE albums in one night: ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR. They went #1, #2 and #3 on the Billboard 200, the first time anybody’s ever held the top three at once. MAID OF HONOUR is the club side of the trilogy: 14 tracks, about 45 minutes, a lot of dance, house, Jersey club and dancehall, with Stunna Sandy, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, Popcaan and Iconic Savvy on it. “Which One” with Central Cee was the lead single all the way back in July 2025.
I’ll be honest, out of the three this was the slowest one to grow on me. That’s not me saying I don’t like it, because I do. ICEMAN has just been THAT good and it took up all my listening. When an album checks every box like that, everything else has to wait its turn.
What changed it for me was the visuals. When FOMO came out in September with videos for “Cheetah Print,” “Outside Tweaking,” “New Bestie,” “True Bestie,” “Road Trips” and “Hoe Phase,” I started giving MAID OF HONOUR more time, and it’s still growing on me.
7/10 for now. Still growing.
