The Fall-Off Review

The Doja Room gives 'The Fall-Off' by J. Cole a 7/10. Credit where it's due, this is the most complete project Cole has put out in years. 24 tracks, two discs, him rapping like the hungry Cole again on Two Six, Run A Train and Bunce Road Blues with Future and Tems, and the Alchemist and T-Minus beats carry the slower stretches. But I can't separate the music from the man. He talked about the big 3 for years, threw out 7 Minute Drill, then ran on stage two days later apologizing and pulled it off streaming like it never happened. Then he turns around and says that whole mess re-inspired disc 2. You picked your exit, Cole, so don't sell me the battle in the album rollout. Still love you cause of the memories, but I could never forgive you. Good album, too long, and a 7 is all the love I got 🤷🏾‍♂️
