Is Kendrick and Pusha T Plotting One More Strike Against Drake? Is This The End of Drake’s Beefing?

For months, we’ve watched Drake and Kendrick Lamar engage in one of the most intense and publicized rap battles in recent hip-hop history. Diss records have flown back and forth, subliminals have been hidden in verses, and the culture has been fed beyond belief with one of the most heated exchanges the genre has seen in years.

But as the dust settles and the battles shift more toward chart competition rather than lyrical warfare, the question has to be asked:

Is this really the end? Or is one last major strike being planned?

Kendrick & Pusha T: A Two-Man Assault on Drake?

Recent rumors and leaks have started swirling that Kendrick Lamar and Pusha T may be working on something together, with some even speculating it could be another full-on diss aimed at Drake.

Now, we’ve heard this before—artists link up in the studio all the time, and it doesn’t always mean it’s a diss track. It could be something completely unrelated. But given how both artists have a personal stake in seeing Drake lose, it’s hard to ignore what this collaboration could mean.

For those who might’ve forgotten, Pusha T is the one rapper who actually left a scar on Drake’s reputation. Back in 2018, “The Story of Adidon” didn’t just expose Drake’s secret son—it completely changed the trajectory of the beef, forcing Drake to address his personal life in a way he never had before.

Now fast forward to 2025, Kendrick Lamar has taken over the role of Drake’s biggest enemy. After all the diss tracks, accusations, and meet-the-Grahams levels of disrespect, the only thing that could possibly bait Drake back into a full-blown diss track battle would be a joint attack from both of his biggest rivals.

The Video Rumors: A Diss, or Just Music?

Fueling these rumors even more is talk of a video being filmed behind the scenes.

Nobody knows for sure what it’s for, but the timing is suspicious. With Kendrick gearing up for his next album cycle, it wouldn’t be shocking if he wanted one last hit to keep the momentum going.

We saw this playbook already—drop some diss records, dominate the culture and the charts, and then transition right into an album rollout.

With Kendrick rumored to be in “album mode”, this could be the final bullet in his Drake war—a final attack before stepping into his next major solo release.

And if Pusha T is involved? Oh yeah, we could absolutely see another diss track incoming.

But that brings up a bigger question…

Is This The Last Time We’ll See Drake in a Rap Battle?

Let’s be real—Drake has been battling the entire industry for over a decade now.

From Meek Mill, Kanye, Pusha T, Joe Budden, and now Kendrick Lamar, we’ve seen Drake step up against some of hip-hop’s strongest competitors. But given his ongoing lawsuit against UMG, we have to wonder—is there even a reason for Drake to keep engaging in rap beef anymore?

Because make no mistake—this lawsuit could change everything.

Drake is currently in the middle of one of the biggest industry fights we’ve seen in years, exposing alleged label interference, collusion, and direct involvement in narrative control against him.

If this battle with UMG drags on, there’s a real chance that no rapper will even WANT to battle Drake anymore. Why? to claim they'll be sued or something along the lines, but most people I fear wouldn't disagree

This could mean that Drake—one of the most battle-tested rappers of his generation—may never get another real, organic rap battle ever again.

That doesn’t mean he won’t take subliminals (he always will).

That doesn’t mean he won’t fire off some bars in a song.

But will we ever see a full-blown diss war from Drake after this? That answer is way more uncertain.

Final Thoughts: One More Shot, or Time to Move On?

If Kendrick and Pusha are really planning one more attack, this could be the moment that either baits Drake back in, or closes the book on this era entirely.

Drake might see another diss as counteractive to his legal case and decide to stay strategically silent.

Or, if the attack is big enough, he might just say “Fuck it” and deliver one last haymaker.

Either way, we are watching history unfold. And whether it’s the final round or just the beginning of something even bigger, the Drake-Kendrick war is still sending shockwaves through hip-hop.

But after this? We may never see a rap battle on this scale again.
